My child recently attended a fieldtrip to Berlin Bowl. The school said that they were denied shoes as the facility did not have enough to accomodate all the bookings for the day. The school was instructed to "just have them play in socks". The students did, and slipped and slid all over the lanes. My child slipped and dropped a 6 lb ball on his large toe....doing quite substantial damage to the foot of a 5 year old. Berlin Bowl now denies having ever made those statements and insists that shoes are always available, but the schools refuse to use them. I have also found that this is a quite common occurance at this bowling alley. Parents sending children on fieldtrips, BEWARE!, you may get to hear all about their fun day out in the lobby of the ER.

I called and asked if they had open bowling. He gave me the hours they we're open. I asked again if they were filled with leagues at this time. Same answer we're open....blah blah blah
