I personally do not like the Bernardsville school system. I attended the High School 30 years ago and nothing has changed. My daughter is now in the EIGHTH Grade at the Middle School putting up with the same peer crap that I put up with. The problem with this District is that if you come from one of the sending districts you will never be treated the same as if you live in Bernardsville. As my child says they should teach more instead of all the class trips that are useless. And what is "Team Building" all about? You can't make students be friends with people that they just don't like. I think it just causes more tension between the students.This Politically Correct crap has to just stop. You can't force it down a kid's throat. Because of a few "well to do"(?) families the lower middle class students are made to feel inferior because they don't have the fancy clothes and other items. Admitting that you shop in WALMART is the biggest mistake you can make, the kids are the ones that hear how they are not wearing designer clothes.

So if you are a multi millionaire, this is a great school system. If you are a blue collar worker living from paycheck to pay check, like the rest of us, forget it.
