Dr. Card and Hospice Need New Employees:

Horrible. That's the best word to describe both the receptionist, Melissa, and the head nurse hired under Dr. Card/hospice, of Berryville, Arkansas. My father is on the St. John's hospice program, which is for the most part okay, I suppose; but the two mentioned above are just plain rude to my poor mother every time she calls to confirm presciptions for my father. Simply put: They just DO NOT CARE. And if my mother does not call and remind them several times of my father's medication refills, well, they just would not be filled-- And my father is dying of cancer, he needs his medicine! Unbelieveable. Absolutely unbelieveable to think that a HUGE part of these women's jobs are to be kind, caring, and make sure their patients/customers have what they need (i.e. Daddy's meds)! Some much needed advice, St. John's/ Dr. Card/ hospice: Either have a good, stern talk with these two bad-for-business employees, or replace them with people who do their jobs the way they are meant to be done.
