Let me begin by saying that I cannot say enough good things about Custom Coatings. The service was exceptional, the quality was great and they even warped their schedule to accommodate my random and highly critical delivery of parts. I tried very hard to give them a heads-up about my parts coming in, but I slipped my schedule in getting them parts and they were able to still deliver to my original due date making up my slip! The quality was awesome, so much so that my welder was very impressed and even questioned how they got the finish so smooth. The price was very fair as they were willing to work my non-critical parts in with other runs. Brett seemed very concerned about making sure that his work was perfect so that my international customer was completely satisfied. The products that Custom Coatings delivered are now in service delighting their users and will soon be replicated world-wide. Custom Coatings is now an integral part of my final product and I consider them a cr

Horrible Quality Work

These guys have protected poor quality powder coating. And they seem to be ok with it. \n\nLet me elaborate.... I restore cars for a living so I'm always looking to have wheels and parts media blasted and coated. I'm also willing to pay for quality. Well these guys fail on all ends when it comes to a positive vendor experience. Horribly. \n\nLast time I was in I brought wheels and gave direct instructions about sand being left in any grooves to be removed prior to powder. At $85 dollars a wheel they came back with lots of sand and plenty of accuses that it was not from them, excuses from manufacture defects in there welds etc. yet a razor blade taken to the area only freed sand particles invested in finish. Lots of sand. And this is the main issue. Tons of sand in the finish. Brett said he would sand and recoat them but I choose to leave them as is because in the past he's recoated things without my knowledge and the second on some of these items has delaminated.. That's right. \n\nSo which brings me to today. I brought in rare hard to find expensive car parts. All of which got hosed with lots of sand in the finish. \n\nHe offered to sand and recoat these butas stated above I wasn't going to take the chance of that finish pealing off. I asked to have them stripped bare again and done right and was told they could do that but not gaurantee they would damage the part removing the powder. So they ruine my parts with a sub par finish and now there offer to fix it could possible cost me thousands in damaged parts. Brett wet on to say it was gonna take him days to strip his powdercoat and that he probably couldn't even get the parts with a better finish. Huh. They are covered in sand user the paint!! I even offered to pay more so they could actually take the time to clean the parts after media blast to insure this does t happen again. Nope sorry. This is the quality they provide that's it. Then was told I can give you a refund but please make sure you don't say anything negative online about us as it hurts our business. I had to tell the guy, what I'm not about to lie to people and though I'm gonna take your refund its not gonna stop me from voicing the truth about my experience with you. \n\nBrett did refund my contract but that's still a loss for me. By his own admission the parts are going to take three times as long to strip so I'm going to have to pay extra to have these redone correctly. Like 3 times as much. \n\nDon't be a fool and do any business with these guys. You can go right down the street to his compution as they actually care about there quality of work.

I was very happy

These guys sandblasted and powder coated an old head and foot board bed for me. Looks fantastic. I'd recommend them.
