The manager, is very rude and unhelpful. There has been 3 leaks in under a year and all they did was paint over water stains and put a fan over the soaked carpet. Our dogs got attacked my another neighbors dogs and the manager did nothing about it. Horrible parking. The dishwasher never cleaned properly and they "fixed" it 3 times. We have had too many problems to count and none of them were fixed properly. And the worst part was they charged us for replacing the entire carpet because it was "worn" and "soiled" although it was years old before we even moved in and we didn't even use one of he rooms in the apartment yet it was "too soiled to keep".

Resident 2016-2018 I have to agree with the other disappointing posts. Everything seemed great when I signed my lease, but my time here as been sub-par. I too had problems with my air conditioner making a loud banging noise while running. During the 3 attempts at fixing it, all that was done was sticking a part of a foam pool toy up in the unit to block the sound. Most of my other requests, to fix burned out porch lights, to seal windows and doors, were ignored. There is also a major bug problem here. I have had to deal with spiders, scorpions, wasps, pill bugs, roaches and more. The pest control is obviously not working. The biggest problem came when I notified management that I was moving out. They were extremely unaccommodating and would not allow me to stay even a few days past my lease date, unless I wanted to pay a full month's rent. .Update I just moved out of and I'm so glad to do so. We had a terrible experience there, and management is impossible to deal with. They don't care about their renters at all once they've got your contract. We had problems with spiders and scorpions, and they wouldn't send any pest control people out for weeks. Even then, it didn't help. The people that lived below us had wild parties at all hours of the night when I had to be at work early in the morning, and they wouldn't enforce their quiet hours policy. The worst of all is that we moved out because of a job opportunity in another city. We had to break our lease, which was VERY expensive, and they made us pay it upfront, saying they would refund it if we found someone to sublease it. We found someone, and then they wouldn't give us the money back. They kept putting us off, saying management was busy at the moment, and they did this for an entire week. We never got our huge payment back. Plus, they kept our security deposit, and then they were trying to charge us for other damages that we didn't even cause. This was the worst place

Take a little time and really weigh your options when it comes to renting Update

Do NOT move to Council Crossing. You will have nothing but problems. Maintenance sucks, they're slow and will also damage your apartment bringing appliances in. The office is so unorganized. The manager does not know what she is doing, and she will make sure you know that. Nobody knows how to read ledgers so you get told a different amount to pay every month for your rent. When you request that maintenance calls you before they come to your apartment, you will NOT get a call, and you will come into your apartment with a random man (maintenance worker) in there and the office won't do ---- about it. They don't give a crap about their residents. It is truly not even worth the cheap price. This place is literally ----. Just do not please do NOT move into this place. I've lived here since June so just a little over 6 months and I have been ready to move out since August. I'm so tired of this ---- hole, and the organization they call a office. My neighbor got robbed a couple of weeks ago, and I was helping her with her kids while she talked to the police officer, and the officer even told her to move out of this place as soon as she possibly can. AND yes you did read that right, my neighbor got robbed - someone broke into her apartment and took her tv's her sons brand new Jordon's, their game systems. Oh, and the office also did nothing about that. Let's just say they don't even deserve a one star.

Provided by YP.comAll I can say is this place SUCKS!!! rats, roaches, loud obnoxious neighbors, people. getting drunk in the courtyards yelling at others and completely inconsiderate of the others who they disturb. throwing their beer cans on the ground and leaving them. there are some nice people who live here, but I assume they are like me, unable to get the management to stop the noise. I have been told to call the cops because they were going to drink and make noise and nothing I do will stop them.
I would not recommend this place to a homeless person if they were giving it to them for free to get them of the street. What is sad is that the management could fix the problems quite easily if they wanted to. If they would fix the problems, this place is not bad. It has become horrible in the last two months or so. I would compare it to living upstairs to a nasty loud biker bar. it wasn't like this a year ago. it was quite nice, just in need of a few repairs.
Also, apartment was less than perfect on move in. On move out was charged exactly one month rent in cleaning despite leaving apartment spotless. When I called the manager she got rude and hung up. Very dirty management. I paid rent on time every time. My original lease even said carpet was jacked and they charged me for that! Can somebody tell me how it costs 320 to clean sinks and tub when it was cleaned with bleach before move out? Thieves.

Provided by YP.comLiving here has been a terrible experience. I moved here to save money on monthly rent. The problem with that is the last tenant was a smoker and they did NOT take care of the apartment before I moved in or ever mention anything. Now I have to replace all my furniture.... They never even shampooed! I rented a shampoo and went over the carpet twice before the water wasn't black anymore. The update their website pretty frequently. Every time they do,leases and payment processing gets screwed up, leaving me unable to make payments and not saving the signed lease that I have email confirmation for. So even though I renewed my lease at 780 per month, my payment was never processed and they never saved my lease. Now it says I owe 1000 and their website won't even let me make a payment...I suffer from a clogged sink as you see in pic and they never fixed it. I had to buy draino. Also, to say the parking is awful is an understatement. I drive a compact car and have a small figure. Even I struggle to get out of my car with their parking lots. I hear the management was better when I first signed my lease.Since then there have been a lot of changes and it has just been one disaster after another...

Provided by YP.comThe individuals working in the office are rude and could care less to handle any situation that you bring to their attention. Maintenance has no clue how to fix anything. The dishwasher had something go awry causing it to leak water in to the pantry. They fixed the dishwasher but nothing else. The bottom of the pantry is now moldy and mushrooms started growing out from the baseboard. The walls are incredibly thin and air comes in through the edges of the door and windows due to not being sealed properly. If you have a neighbor that smokes you will smell it along with whatever they are cooking. Neighbors upstairs are insanely loud. Management just says to call security because they can't do anything without an 'official' complaint. Even after calling security over and over again, they did nothing. Guess they prefer to get the rent money from illegal individuals than keeping their legit tenants happy. People drive through at all hours with their music blaring. Trash, dog poop and cigarette butts are all over the ground. They continually raise the rent. If you do not sign a lease with them and go month to month expect your rent to be raised every 6 months. I am counting down the days until I am able to move.

Provided by YP.comI Live next door to a family with two small boys who are very noisy and not well managed, also live next to a person that work at night that slam doors when they come home from work at wee hours of he morning. So you be the judge. This has been reported to the office, was told parents were talked too, but the noise is still going on. right now the kids are running up and down the stairs and hitting the walls. Parents are allowing this to go on.. no respect for the other tenants. so happy new year to me!!!!! Moving as soon as possible.

Provided by YP.comThe manager is terrible. The district manger of Price&Edwards who run Council Crossing is obnoxious and a user. As a government employee. I thought that Council Crossing would be a decent place. It ended up a trash hole. A sewer complex. I suffered for a whole year from incompetent staff. My sister lived there too and we both were disgusted with it. The so called manager who has zero communication skills has nothing to do except sitting with her boyfriend and eating and smoking. My work orders never got attended to. The apt was old, dirty from day one. There is no phone number for the maintenance person.
The toilet overflew in the middle of the night. I am not handy with a wrench! Most apartments have someone that tenants can call – even after hours – if something major goes wrong. If there is no such number in Council Crossing it’s likely that most of the apartment maintenance will be done by you, I bought a toolbox ready. Maintenance is one only and not available!
I should have paid attention during touring the property, as angry tenant chased down the manager with a problem.
It was actually indication of a bad landlord. The landlord or manager was never attentive and responsive to my needs while you live there, the manger ducks behind bushes as people go in and out of their apartments, no rapport between tenants and management. My problems as a tenant were never addressed, I saw a
a burglary bulletin board in the office and it was covered. During my tour there was and still heard breaking glass while you were touring the property! This is the worst apartment areas with high crime rates. I did not feel safe in my apartment, and was worried daily about leaving poor little Fluffy – and my brand new smart flat screen TV There are many Cars with taped up windows and wires hanging from where the stereo. The manager is a liar and did not show me the actual unit until you’ve signed the contract. Tiles were dirty and carpet dingy. Old tenants? Who knows what they could be hiding from you. The sparkling pool is filled with snotty nosed screaming children.
Little kids splashing about. Twenty little kids, no adults, and they’re all screaming at the top of their lungs, blowing their nose in the water, and who knows what else. This isn’t the tropical paradise I had envisioned. This scene also suggested that the entire complex ended up to be be noisy and overrun with unsupervised children, which can intrude on a cram session, or even worse… a party. Seriously bad surroundingThere is no parking. And it’s Monday morning. the complex serves as a neighborhood parking lot, and there isn’t sufficient parking for the residents. Both of these were a problem. Finding parking is treacherous enough, I had to cruise the parking lot for hours waiting for someone to leave. I think that a good apartment complex should have at least enough spaces for its residents if not designated guest spaces as well. Manger lied about parking availability. The landlord mentioned something about sex offenders living in the complex.
Creepy men lingering poolside, young hooligans congregating in the parking lot, and scantily clad women hanging around questionably became daily indications that the clientele is not be top of the line.I found sketchy residents as a drawback.
The bug guy indicated a persistent pest control problem. Unless you like roaches running across your feet as you get a glass of water at 2 am , or enjoy fumigating your apartment on a weekly basis, Council Crossing is a perfect place . Pest problems are created by dirty residents, and shoddy construction. The complex have a history of pest problems, bugs crawling with no reliable solution.
I dumped this complex

OMG worst apartment ever!! Stay away! Don't be fooled by the staff. There is dog crap everywhere (people like to chain their pets to the back doors and let them do whatever) and the smell of dog pee is everywhere. It is overwhelming! The trash containers are always full and there is trash all over. The parking spots are so small my car is dinged everyday and the pavement is awful. I will probably need new tires because of this. The apartment is so old that the paint is just flaking away from years of adding more paint on more paint. The drawers in the kitchen and bathroom almost don't close. . When you walk around the apartments half of them have parts hanging off doors and you can tell no maintenance is done ever. If you call to get maintenance done it is never ever done. Oh they will say they are coming out but they never do. If there was a way to give no stars to staff and maintenance people I would. I have never had anything fixed when asked ever. Three or four times I have tried to get several items fixed. No one cares but they sure want the rent!! Don't be fooled by the fountain in the entrance of the apartments. It never works. I plan to move before the lease is up. Roaches and bugs fill the place. They did not spray for the last three months. The mold is making me sick from the past tenants flooded carpet that was never fixed. I moved to OKC and I am actually thinking of leaving because if this is how you get treated when you rent, I am done with this place. Oh and if you want to listen to your upstairs neighbors laughing and chasing each other at 2 am every night, then this is the place for you. I haven't slept since I got here. All night long they are running around. You can hear the laughing and running all night, every night. Just trust me. Avoid Council Crossing Apartments. You will be glad you did. They are the DEATH STAR OF Bethany apts.

Provided by YP.comThis place sucks. The inside of my actual apartment looked nothing like the model they showed me. It was very brown, dark, old, and dirty. Pretty depressing . Old appliances, leaking shower faucet, stained worn carpet, and I have a lovely view of a giant parking lot out my front window. The balcony rail is about to fall off. The water DOES go from scalding to cold and back several times EVERY time I take a shower. I have even noticed some homeless men digging in the dumpsters on at least three occasions! No security or gate. Plus, the women in the office are very rude, if you get to talk to them. Rarely does anyone answer when I call. people failed to clean up after themselves. There are nails everywhere, bits of wood and trash, and for some reason, some crazy spotted paint job, at least on my building. Don't be fooled. These apartments are no where near the price they will have you pay for them.

Provided by YP.comI remember I went in to inquire about the apartments and while there in the office the police and ambulance came through, little kids cursing. Management wasn't professional. Instead of tending to the potential tenants they had their noses in the window watching the sirens and talking about their residents in a not so nice way. After reading the reviews I'm glad all the signs were shown and I'll never even consider this place as a future place to reside.

BETHANY, Oklahoma - Bethany Police arrested two men in connection with a home invasion that happened early this morning.
Police said Preston Edwards, 21, and James McClain, 27, broke into a unit at the Council Crossing Apartments early this morning.
One person inside the apartment at the time was hit in the head with a roofing hammer. He is in good condition, though.
Police recovered belongings of the victim's from Edwards and McClain as well as the hammer used in the attack. These are by far the worst apartments I have ever lived in. I signed a 6 month lease. During this time I had numerous maintenance issues, that were never addressed. I had my stereo stolen out of my car that was parked right outside my bedroom window. I had Christmas presents stolen. Laundry room and gym is a joke. I went once to the pool and threw up from the dirt and noise. When it came time to move out, I left the apartment as clean as it possibly could be. I was not on a lease. They insisted I owed them another month of rent because I did not give them 30 days notice. On top of keeping my deposit. I just received a letter from a collections department claiming that I owe Council Crossing 2800. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Not only will you be miserable there, but the will try to screw you over any way possible.
