Over five years ago, I literally "crossed paths" with one of the Benedictine sister's who resides at the Abbey. She invited me to their morning Mass so the very next day I arrived at 8:00am.This was prior to the start of daily Mass and they were singing their usual morning Gregorian chants/prayers in Latin. I closed my eyes - listened and reflected as it felt like "heaven on earth" as it was so very special plus it left a lasting impression. May the Good Lord continue to bless their mission of work and prayer (ora y labora). As a result of this contact, along with my mother who has also visited the Abbey, we have contributed to their "New Horizons" fundraising campaign to meet the fire and building standards/codes.
