Provided by YP.comI was a client in the adult section of Wellspring but went to the arch Bridge school each morning to finish up my senior year. It is a very poor program, the guy in charge of the adult house has the worst temperament, he doesn't help he creates problems and they do t provide individual therapy even though they say they do. I ended up leaving and going to Fulshear in Texas where I got the help I needed. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially the adult and the school, gave me alot of traumatic experiences.

Provided by YPmobileI attended wellspring for 22 months and it saved my life. I will not lie that it is far from perfect. No program has everything. I was struggling with severe bipolar disorder and wellspring was patient and involved. The staff are careing and actively working with you. The therapist keep a close relationship to have a secure working contract. It is 100% a Paine being there but worth every cent. I am still in contact and close with many staff and admin because relationships last. It's hard in the process but a life changing choice that you will no forget!

Provided by YP.comMy daughter lived at Angelus House (+18) at went to school at Arch bridge in the morning. The therapy here is different, lot of group therapies, and what really helped my daughter is "expressive" therapy, whether it's looking in a mirror and talking about what you see to hitting a large foam box. There is also art therapy, REIKI therapy, yoga, weekly bowling, outings to nature centers, Starbucks, flea market, etc. The mental work is tough , they really challenge them. The new psychiatrist tries to wean them off meds and the program really tries to get them to get to the root of their issues. My daughter was here Jan - June 2014 and being here 6 months really turned her life around. and she had numerous issues. I would highly recommend Well Spring.

Provided by YP.comWellspring is Terrible!.........do not send your kids here. The staff is terrible. The prices that you are paying to go here and one of the counsolors, has a Masters degree in educational counseling , but he is counseling people with drug problems....for 11k a month I would sure hope that you get a better staff than this one. This is just a waste of money for your child. You would better off at another faclity. We spent money and after our child was there we learned more about the incidents that happened there, and our child came home much worse off than when we sent her there. If you look at the staff. Joe Braccio has a masters degree in professional counseling. I would hope that if you are spending 11k a month that you would have more than a masters degree.

Provided by YP.comWellspring is a mental health facility that provides serveral services which are: intensive residential treatment for children age 6 - 12, adolescent girls age 13 - 18, and adults, extensive outpatient services for girl and boys, and a co-ed therapeutic state-approved special education school.
With the Adolescent Girl Program, I personally think it is an excellent place to send your daughter. Unlike most therapeutic schools or facilities, Wellspring focuses on both your daughters struggle/issues and focuses on the relationship between parents and their daughter. My daughter was there for over a year (although every stay depends on what the "problem" is). My daughter went in for an Eating Disorder and Self-Harm, or so we thought that was all...with Wellspring they make sure (eventually) that you know what was happening to your daughter (emotionally and what she's done). Not only is the treatment for your daughter, but also for you. For the parents, there is a weekly Family Session and every other Sunday they have a group called Parent Support Group, which for me helped.
Although, the therapy between your daughter and her therapist is confidential if there were ever anything they thought was dangerous to others or your daughter they would notify you. Also the staff there milieu and therapists are all king and understanding people, even though my daughter tells me things about how the staff should do there job differently and treat the girls like "criminals and talk to us as though their our boss". I sometimes think she's right, but then again why would anyone be "sent" there if they didn't have issues with listening, behavior toward adults and herself, etc...
Well, besides that fact the therapists are all loving people. Especially, the Program Supervisor Mr. Culhane, if it wasn't for him, I hate to say it, but I don't think my daughter would be here with me today and see the future with me as a family.
I give all my courage and hope to those out there with daughters and sons who are struggling. And to the Parents, don't give there behavior the cold shoulder and think it's "just a phase". Please seek help or at least talk to her/him, check out whats going on, especially if there have been signs of "bad"/inappropriate behavior.
Hope all goes well,
