Beware of "Dark Computer Services" and Pedro Santos! I wish I could have rated with no stars. I sent him a wii and a hard drive to be updated and have emulators added,well for over a month he gave me the run around telling me he was busy,co-workers are sick ect.ect. Then he stops answering my calls and emails,after threatning legal action he tells me its sent out and gives me a tracking number,the number turns out to be fake. After being forced to file a police report and a report with better buisness burea he responds back telling me there was a mix up at the post office (doesnt explain the fake numbers), so he finally gets around to sending the stuff back to me,I recieve it and most of the work wasnt even done, and the work that had been done didnt even work right,and to top it off my wii didnt even work the way it did when I sent it and everything from my hard drive was erased. He had the nerve to charge me $60 for this month long botch job! Visa refunded my money and he is now being investigated for fraud. Please never trust dark computer services or any other computer company pedro santos decides to open.

No wonder they claim to be going out of buisness!

I took my xbox to these guys to get the red rings fixed. They fixed it and i got it back two days later, worked great for about 2 months, then red ringed again, so I called them up and they fixed it again for me, and it worked again for another month, then stopped, so I went back and asked what was going on. They explained that some xboxs have simply taken too much damage from overheating, so they helped me list it online, and sell it for parts, then put the $30 I paid for the repair, towards another xbox 360 from them. I've had this console now for 6 months, and it's working beautifully. thanks again guys!

I shipped my console out to dark computer services like 2 months ago to have my ps3 fixed. I live in columbus, ohio and saw their ad for ps3 repair on the local craigslist. I didnt feel right at first sending away my expensive system to some strangers, so i called ahead and spoke to the owner, he explained everything that they'd do to fix it and how long it would be done, he told me everything i had to know, and even suggested i look on here for what people are saying about the business. I send my system out on a monday morning early, and got a call from them a day later saying that they received it safely, and were going to start working on it that day, they called me again later that night and told me my system was ready and itd be out first thing in the morning, got it the day after, on thursday. I waited at least a month or two before reviewing to make sure the system would stay working, it's still running strong even though i play it like crazy. Honestly, i am more than satisfied, it shows that there are still great businesses out there, i was sort of scared that i'd be sending away my ps3 to never get it back, but the service was unbelievable. great job there guys, i was more than happy to write a review for you. :)

My laptop was giving me problems where it sometimes wouldn't even load up. i searched craigslist for someone because i needed it done fast. i would rather bite my head off then go to geek squad for a routine ripoff. I found Pedro on craigslist and gave him a call. he took a look at my laptop and ran some tests and wouldn't you know the hard drive was burned out. He gave me the choice of him grabbing one at the store or ordering online for a much less price, i'm cheap so i choose online. As soon as the hard drive came in, he called me within two hours or so and told me it was done. nonetheless, the computer is flawless now, i had a small issue with a virus my son caught while on my computer, Pedro helped me remotely and didn't even charge. Let me tell you, i've seen many scams and crappy service, but Dcs and Pedro will go out of their way everytime to make sure youre happy.

My xbox crapped out on me 2 days before I was heading off to college for my senior year. If youre a college student, you know that you won't leave with out your xbox. I called up Pedro and stopped by his shop at 4pm. Dropped off my xbox, he called me at 5 and told me it was all set to go. He let me sit in his shop and play my xbox to make sure the red ring of death was gone. Haven't had it happen again yet. You can't go wrong with Dark computer, Pedro knows exactly what he's doing, i'm amazed with the quick service.

Definitely will be a return customer.

I had an Xbox 360 system that was out of warranty and of course micro$oft wouldn't fix it cause it was past warranty. It wouldn't read any of my games, and just was annoying more and more everyday. I called the guys at Dark computer services and Pedro told me to come in when I could. I got there, he had my Xbox taken apart, replaced the drive, and had me test it out. Didn't even take 20 minutes. These guys are awesome, I've come back to him for my laptop, and to have my wii modified to play backups. Btw, they doesn't sell games so don't ask. Awesome service in my opinion, i've worked with others on CL and they only do amateur work and got annoyed with my questions, so take my advice!

My computer had been giving me problems for quite a few weeks, I kept getting these blue screens and I couldn't do anything. Now, my computer is pretty old, but since i'm not a big user, I wanted to keep it for a bit longer. I called a young kid on Craigslist, who completely butchered my computer and lost some of my data. I am a mother, so quite a few pics of my kids were lost. I found DCS through Craigslist, and called Pedro. He answered right away and came to my house within 20 minutes. He explained everything that was going wrong. He diagnosed it perfectly and it turned out to be a bad hard drive, which he had a spare on him. My computer was up and running within 2 hours. I even called him a few days later because I was having trouble installing office which was due to my disc being scratched heavily, he came by again and helped me with it, and did not even charge me. Extremely good service, will work with him again.
