Misdiagnosed a blown head gasket. charged me over $1000. Didn't back up their work. Fixed random items and charged me without communicating first. Said he won't fix what he messed up and hung the phone up on me. I requested a itemized estimate and he abbreviated it on a sticky note without a total. Their garage resembles a crack house. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE

Probably the 2 best mechanics around the area! Reasonable prices and honesty go along way in my book. They have worked on 2 of my vehicles and I am satisfied with everything they do. I won't go anywhere else and recommend Bettendorf Friendly Auto to anyone.

This is a small shop and they do excellent work and the pricing is fair and they only perform the work that is needed. I have had my care into Friendly several times and have always been satisfied.

Did the same work as another place in town quoted, but for less than half the price. The place looks a little run down but the guys are ethical and do good work. I'd rather have somebody who's gruff on the phone but does great work at a great price than someone who's polite and blows smoke my you know what and then overcharges me.

They did a great job for me several times. Took my Toyota Camry here to get the master cylinder done. Cost me less than 50% of what any other place charged me and it was done the same day. My 1998 buick was leaking gas, took it to one place they told me I needed a whole new fuel system was going to cost $2700, took it to BFA and they said it was a bad o-ring changed it out cost me $17, and no more leak got this replaced a year ago. I would reccomend to anyone that asks they do a great job and are very inexpensive.

This place is horrid, not friendly at all on the phone and that's as far as my buisness went with them. I also heard on facebook later that they over charge but my experience with them didn't go that far, final word Stay Away!!!

I've been taking my new and classic cars to these two professions for years and they have always given me the most honest and cost effective repairs which have always been way under those obtained elsewhere. Our friends have gotten second opinions from these guys and saved hundreds! They know how to diagnose the problem correctly the first time.
