My fiancé and I stayed at Pine Knot on April 19, we paid for 2 nights up front with cash. The morning of April 20th we received a call regarding a family emergency and had to leave first thing in the morning, before 9am. We were unable to find the owner, Bradley, so we called & told him our situation. He reported he was in Cadillac & would have "no problem" mailing us a refund. We have called several times requesting our refund of $110 & have heard "it's on the way, I mailed it at the beginning of last week" & more recently "I am a man of my word, I will send it out first thing Monday morning (June 3). It is now June 9, close to 2 months from when we stayed & still do not have our money back. Apparently this man is not the family man he acts to be & I hope he is not teaching his sons this unethical behavior.

Nastiest Place Ever!

Nastiest place ever!! It is disguisting to look at and the rooms are filthy. It is a junkyard and the owner is a complete jerk. His foul mouth kids run around scaring other children and there is nothing but junk in the parking lot. Owner also charged me for 3 nights when I stayed for 1. Still fighting my refund. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!
