Antiquarian Traders Is Rated D- By The Better Business Bureau!

Mark Slotkin, the owner of Antiquarian Traders, does not pay his bills. He starts off friendly, but when it is time to pay, he becomes a nightmare to deal with. He is abusive, threatening, and completely unwilling to pay. I am suing him now for $21,049.98. He has been sued many times before. At least three entities controlled by Mark filed bankruptcy: Olympic Holdings, LLC, Wooton Group, LLC, and Golden Oak Partners, LLC. He hired attorney M. Jonathan Hayes to handle these three bankruptcy cases, and then unsuccessfully objected to Mr. Hayes' fees in every case. Prices at Antiquarian Traders seem to me to be astonishingly high. This included the items that I looked at at his store on Robertson Blvd. and at his warehouse on Alameda Street as well as the prices that I see on line for the Antiquarian Traders website. I first met Mark Slotkin when he needed my help and proposed trading me a Brunswick pool table for part of my services. It is a nice old pool table, and the employees who installed the pool table at my home were very nice and did a good job installing it. I don't think that it is worth that $15,000.00 that he told me it was worth, but it looks nice. When I got the pool table, I was happy. Not long after that, I began to wish that I had never met him. Do not do business with this man.One more thing: Antiquarian Traders is rated D- by the Better Business Bureau! Wish I had checked that BEFORE I did business with Antiquarian Traders and its owner Mark Slotkin.
