The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) issued some information over the summer that has the potential to affect any and all members who teach special education students with autism.BHEA is working closely with CTA to synthesize the CTC information. Upon synthesis, BHEA will issue suggestions to all of our affected members on how to deal with the potential changes to your working conditions that may arise from this CTC information.In the meantime, BHEA encourages you to review the official CTC information released thus far and to stay informed.As of right now, there appear to be two pathways to autism authorization, one being more intensive than the other.
