I moved to Los Angeles convinced I would never find a place I loved as much as the Rita Hazan salon in NYC, but thank goodness was I wrong. The Canale Salon has it all! When I first entered the salon in Beverly Hills frequented by A-List celebrities like Jennifer Anniston, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Needless to say, Michael Canale lives up to his reputation. Truly a master in his craft, Michael’s acute attention to detail creates the most natural looking blonde hair color I’ve had. Hair stylist James Williams is an expert in creating healthy locks without sacrificing length. He helped restore shine to my brittle hair and gives the best blow out in town! The staff at Canale Salon is talented, genuine, and a real joy to be around. As long as I’m living in California, I’ll never go anywhere else.

Canale is located right across from the Montage on Canon and there is a very convenient public parking as well.

I have short, blond (unfortunately not my natural color) and pretty dry hair. I've tried so many hair salons, treatments, shampoos, creams and conditioners that I've lost the count, but still didn't get the result was going for. I went there about a month ago on a friend's recommendation and so glad I did. I was told to see James for a cut and styling... I'm so happy and relieved, because now I know that my hair will always look as healthy, beautiful and awesome as it does now thanks to his professionalism. He is so talented but still down-to-earth. James' haircuts are wonderful - he truly knows how to cut based upon your hair type and face shape. And he does the BEST blow dry I've ever seen. Love the environment, love the service!

Most of the reviews I have read are from women who probably have NOTHING better to do than sit and wait for 2 hours. I on the other hand want to get my colour done and get out. Yes I "LIKE" Michael's colour BUT EVERY woman walks out with Jennifer Aniston coloured hair. Clones?

He IS pompous and fat, and does not care one BIT what YOU would like as a client. I have been a customer of his for 8 plus years. Yes ladies I pay the 300$ plus read more » for colour. Time for something new. And Michael hopefully you will learn something about being a professional

Don't line us up like cattle and make us wait for 2 hours because you want to "rake in the cash" as you told me once. Stop bragging and do "different" looks on your clients. Show some "range" and make it a pleasant experience vs. a gossip-fest of your bragging about which magazine you are in this month and what new super star is in love with you. Too bad for you, but thank God I found someone who does JUST what you do for 1/2 the price and doesn't use bleach (DAMAGE 100%) because you ARE so lazy. And I get to customize it each visit with MY wants and MY tastes for winter, spring, summer and fall! I don't have to listen to gossip or wait 2 hours or have to listen to Michael's grandiose thought and that "cackle of a laugh". Go ahead cattle CLONE girls...wait in line. PS. Why do you think it is that Michael NEVER stays at one Salon too long? I'm OVER CANALE AND OVER THE PRICE!
