Greenfield Elementary School, located in Beverly Hills, Mich., is part of Birmingham Public School District, and offers classes in grades kindergarten through five. It follows the core curriculum for elementary schools in the district, strengthened by support specialists, classroom computers, networked computer labs, individual and group instruction, and hands-on learning through community and business partnerships. Its media center offers electronic resources, a video distribution system giving each classroom access to live performance in another part of the building, educational cable television and information available on video cassette, CD and laser disc. All classrooms have computer stations and a large screen monitor to view programs from the media center and for teacher and student presentations. Greenfield Elementary School has five flexible-use classrooms for art, music, reading support, enrichment, Spanish, kids club and all the other needs at the elementary level.
