The closest this quasi-gourmet establishment came to providing any sort of flavor was the salt and pepper shakers that were still insufficient to drown out the burnt crust, which left a taste that might never leave my mouth. As for the ambience, expect about as much liveliness as your local morgue. Perhaps they were hoping I'd kill myself before I got up to ask to speak with Alex, the manager. The staff served a lot of frowns and not much else, and the cardboard crust, while possibly suitable for a hobo to sleep on, might have given me taste bud cancer. Of course, a hobo would struggle to come up with the 7+ bucks for a paltry paper plate of cm thick burnt corrugation. In conclusion, if you are looking for artisan food that is sure to delight, go to louis' instead, and tell them that Alex sent you.�


4 stars off for everything above. Added two stars because the onion pizza was okay and there was a Highlights magazine. Removed a star because the Highlights item search page was completed IN MARKER ALEX YOU ARE A DISGRACE�

When you go to Alex's you know it's all about the pizza. The service always feels like they are just there to take your money, which they do. The pizza is overpriced and the quality is going downhill. I didn't mind spending extra when I was looking forward to those delicious tiny pizzas, but the last couple of times I have been disappointed.

Between sports and during free-time, I love to get Alex Pizza! Alex Pizza is the best pizza around and you haven't lived untill you try it!!! My favorite kind is bacon/olive cooked in the back oven!!!

I love this place. Seems as though every time I've moved away, that is one place that I always miss!! If you haven't tried Pizza by Alex, then what are you waiting for? Pick up the phone and check them out! You won't regret a thing. Even try ordering your pizza cooked in the old oven. :) That's the way I like mine.

My wife and I use to live in Maine and we would travel up to 45 miles to get an Alex Pizza.No one and I repeat no one can make a better tasting pizza.We now live in Georgia and whenever we are in the New England area we drive to eat an Alex Pizza. Try the salami pizza it is wonderful.

Words alone can not describe the awesom pizza from Alex. I will share a secret with you all.... ask for them to bake it in the old oven, taste even better. Best pizza ever and the crust is perfect. Give it a try you will not be dissapointed.
