The Biddeford Public Works Department operates a recycling center, transfer station and wastewater division. The department s recycling center is responsible for the recycling of newspapers, cardboards, plastics, tin cans, glass jars, bottles, automotive batteries, leaves, grass clippings, tires and junk steel. It also offers solid waste management services.
