I have always had a very positive experience with going here until today. I was looking at the free books in the back room they have on the table.These books are ones people have brought in to be recycled, When the bookshelves are full, as they were today, the books waiting to be shelve are there. As I was looking, this older woman in her 70s or 80s, rudely said to me,what are you looking for? I told her I was looking at the books. She said in an unfriendly voice, they're in the front. Other than her, I really like the recycling center. It is very clean, organized, well run, Everyone there is very friendly and polite except for the one older woman. If it wasn't for my negative experience with her, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Friendly, dedicated volunteers staff this community based recycling center. It serves both Big Rapids, where it is located, and the surrounding rural area, where pickup is not available.
