With its location in Big Sandy, Texas, Harmony High School imparts education to students in grades nine through 12 in a variety of academic subjects, such as art, business education, computer science, English, foreign language, health, economics, industrial education and math. In addition, the school offers classes in physical education, professional development, science, social studies and special education. The school s sports programs include football, cross country, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, golf, track and field and cheerleading. The school s student council works for the overall development of the institution. The high school also has a guidance counselor who advises parents on the progress of their children and offers test interpretation, career planning and college placement services.
