The Billerica Police Department patrol division handles the initial response to 911 calls, regular calls for police service and complete the initial report of criminal activity. Its records division is responsible for the safe keeping and organization of all the department's incident and motor vehicle accident reports. The Billerica Police criminal division is charged with investigating all major crimes within the town of Billerica, Mass. The department s detectives are regularly involved in numerous types of investigations to include narcotics, sexual assault, computer crime, robberies, felony larceny, juvenile surveillance and corporate crimes. In addition to traditional investigations, the criminal division also handles firearms licensing and juvenile services.
