Provided by YP.comBest ribs ever, as evidenced by several of the large industrial companies in Billings using Blue's for catering for their employee functions. Their Hog Wild BBQ sandwiches can't be beat and their brisket is very good also. The place I worked at collected sample ribs from a lot of restaurants in Billings and everyone who tasted the ribs agreed that Blue's were the best more than five years ago and has been using Blue's to cater their functions since then with NO employee complaints! It's a shame one guy had to be the rotten apple in the barrel and spoil Blue's 5 star rating.

Provided by YPmobileHaving lived in the south, this is what bbq is all about brisket that is good with or without sauce. Potato salad, sweet potatoes, all are excellent just need okra! And hotter sauce! One review was poor this guy would know good bbq if it bit him. And he thinks he's a cook. Go home and stay there! Blues is a great exprience for bbq lovers and for first timers.

Provided by YP.comI gave Blue's only one star because that was as LOW as I could rate it! I've "taste tested" it three times and always found their Q to be very dry and extremely salty. You can buy a beer next door in the gas station it shares space with. The guy has a couple of 15 to 18 foot trailers, but tries to get his smoke flavor from the hardwood sawdust discarded by a local cabitet shop. At least that is what the owner told me. It is my opinion that Billings, MT doesn't have a good Q restaurant.
I personally cook on an OK Joe's w/low firebox, center smoke oven and finally a verticle cool smoke section for jerky, smoked fish, etc. (those fish are sure hard to keep lit!) My personal favorites to cook are brisket baby backs, and chicken.

Provided by YP.comStopped by on a whim, but was tremendously impressed with the quality of the bbq. This place has almost zero atmosphere, but the staff is friendly. What truly sets this place apart is the food. The food is prepared in the Southern-smoked style, not the open grill, Western-style bbq.
The rib portions are plentiful and the meat comes clean off the bone. Brisket is excellent too. Even on a dry sandwich (no sauce) the brisket is flavorful and moist. The side dishes are similarly tasty, especially the baked beans and cole slaw. Neither is too sweet and each has a nice smoky flavor.
Since dining there the first time, I find myself craving it and wanting to drive over to the Billings Heights just for the purpose of having some.
Highly recommended for BBQ lovers and non-lovers alike. Those who haven't tried Southern-style BBQ, be ready to be impressed.
