I have loved the new Carmike Shiloh 14. It has a fabulous layout, doesn't make you feel like you are walking into a jail to go to a movie and the experience is pretty spectacular. The selections of movies are good and various movie times allow for you to tailor a movie to your hectic schedule. But my biggest concern was my most recent trip to the movie. Now I understand there is a reason to keep the atmosphere of the theaters in a cooler temperature, and I have pleasured the many times during the summer heat escaping into a dark and cold theater to watch a movie, but thist last time it was late december and I had to wrap my coat around myself and still felt like I was catching hypothermia.

I noticed a few others in the audience bundled up to the neck with hats still pulled over their ears. I wonder if we pay so much to see a movie to pay for the dozens of light bulbs they keep lit all day long, and not to heat the place.

Maybe crank up the heat a few degrees that I don't feel like I am watching the movie outside in the subzero temperatures, or at least turning off the air so I do not catch a cold just to see the newest flick.

The 2 times I have been here I have had great experience. The staff is friendly, its clean and has a ton of options for movies and times. LOTS of options at the concession stand. Best part is stimulous tuesday,, you can get a movie cheaper, and a pop and drink for $2. Any other day is a little on the more expensive side compared to other theaters..but worth it! The seats are a lot more comfy also!
