We are a confessional Lutheran congregation. By that statement we mean that we fully adhere to the true Christian doctrines as set forth in the Lutheran Confessions found in the Book of Concord. Certainly we hold that the Holy Scriptures are, in their entirety, the divinely inspired Word of God and, as such, are not only infallible, but also the only authority by which God has chosen to reveal Himself to us. It is the truth of the Holy Scriptures which we believe and all statements of our faith found in the various confessional documents included in the Book of Concord are based solely on it. Like Luther, we hold steadfast to our beliefs and remain rooted solely in the Word of God.
