Went in for contacts. Dr. Wardell was wonderful with my 12 yr old. He took his time with him and was really patient. We didn't feel rushed. The staff was equally great showing him how to put the contacts on and off. Just a really nice experience overall.

Dr. Wardell and his family have, by far, the most welcoming optometry practice I have come across in my 23 years of needing eye care. They treated my young daughter and I like we were instant members of their family, showing genuine care and concern for us both and going above and beyond to meet our needs at the end of a long day. When a 5-year-old who just went through a doctor's visit, nursing 3 shots in her leg, can come through an extensive eye exam smiling- you know you came to exactly the right place.

I was impressed by WVC's selection of stylish frames, the individual attention given to patients, and how nice their new office is. Dr. Wardell is excellent at what he does, and I was able to find a pair of glasses I love, They will fit and adjust your glasses for you anytime for free. It is family owned and operated business and you can tell they want to make sure their customers are well informed. Mike does a good job explaining your options and then letting you choose what works best for you.

I just recently went to Wardell Vision Center to look for new glasses. I was extremely impressed with the wide selection of glasses available in their store. All of their glasses look very fashionable. When I walked into the store I was cheerfully greeted by Mike. He helped me find a fabulous pair of frames fit for my personality. Not only was Mike helpful in picking out glasses for me, he was great at fitting my glasses for me. He listened to my comments while adjusting my frames. I never felt like a burden to him or anyone who works at Wardell Vision Center. My glasses are very comfortable and I have received many comments on how cute they are. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants a wide selection of affordable glasses, friendly service, and honest people. I also loved working with Dr. Wardell. He is an honest doctor. He won't try and sell you on any extra unnecessary treatments needed during your exam. He has a great personality and he seems to get along with just about everyone. I will be visiting them when I need more contacts or have any eye problems

The service at Wardell Vision Center has been very good. They are so good to help me when ever I need it. I get a lot of compliments on my glasses that I got there. It amazes me how so many people notice them. People tell me that I look so much younger with my new glasses. I am really pleased with them

I've been having my eyes examined by Dr. Wardell for a number of years. Last week, Dr. Wardell recommended that I try a mono vision contact in one eye only to correct my reading vision. Guess what, no more reading glasses and I love it!

Dr. Wardell is fantastic, been going to him for years at Vision Optical. Great guy so when I was taking my kids in I went to him at his new place (beautiful space). His son, however, does the ordering and that was where it got bad. While ordering he kept saying "Medicaid" loudly (enough louder so that people kept looking at us at those exact times). MEDICAID requires "X", MEDICAID won't let you do "X"...and I suspected he was trying to embarrass me. I had never heard HMK referred to as Medicaid until the 5 or 6 times he did it in 10 minutes. I thought maybe I was being too sensitive, but then at the end of our order for glasses my daughter asked me to stop for a treat on the way home and after I'd said "no" he interjected that I'd have to get a job. I just stood there with my mouth hanging open. I was so humiliated. HMK requires an income of 34k there's no way someone could even be jobless to have it. The Dr. himself is wonderful. I have no idea why they accept HMK it if they have a problem with people having it or if it's just his son's personal feelings on it but his attitude was so bad I wouldn't have believed it had I not been there. That aside, normally they are wonderful but I am worried about others who have HMK going here. The Dr. is kind, caring, and personable and will try very hard to get your prescription exactly right. It's a family run business, and he's great, as is his wife. If you have private ins or private pay he is the guy to go to!

Dr. Wardell is fantastic, been going to him for years. Great guy so when I was taking my kids in I went to him. His son, however, does the ordering and is not nearly as kind. He kept saying "Medicaid" loudly (enough louder so that people kept looking at us at those times). I thought maybe I was misunderstanding and he wasn't being as rude as I thought, but when my daughter asked me to stop at Dairy Queen he told me I'd have to get a job and I just stood there with my mouth hanging open. Given MHK requires an income of 32k there's no way someone could be jobless to have it, it's even that much nastier. If you have MHK, don't go. If you don't, the Dr. is wonderful. I have no idea why they accept it if they have a problem with people having it.
