Gulf Coast Children's Clinic has been providing care to children on the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1986. Dr. Obaid Siddiqui joined the practice in 1995 and the clinic in Ocean Springs was opened in the spring of 1996. We have five full-time pediatricians. We are hoping to add a sixth full time pediatrician and hope to open a third location in Wiggins before the end of the year.

Staff is unfriendly and made me feel stressed out! Hello I'm a full time mom I don't need doctors staff to be crappy to me I'm already stressed enough. The look they gave me when I said my son doesn't take pacifiers and afterwards forced him to take a makeshift pacifier. He's three months old, I canll because he has a cough and they tell me not to come in, there's nothing they can do and didn't say anything about warning signs or if he didn't get better to bring him in. So 9 days he has this cough and gets worse so we take him to a children's hospital and turns out he's had whooping cough, which if you don't know can be terribly dangerous in a three month old! Safe to say we're finding a new doctors office. The level of rudeness and incompetency here is beyond belief they should not be caring for peoples children.

I'd give this place ZERO stars. The clinical staff is rude as all hell. The MAs think they're RNs, ALL the doctor's except for Dr. Robinson are incompetent. I wish she would go to a different practice altogether. We will not be back to these fools.

terrible!!

I do not recommend going here!! Worst "doctors" I've ever dealt with. They refuse to give my son antibiotics when he needs them and make me bring him there 3 more times before helping him... They are just out to make a profit and not to help your children!! Will never step foot in their door again!

Dont go!!

The wait to even see a patient room is ridiculous! My appointment was for 3:15 and im still waiting in the WAITING ROOM at 4:16. This wasn't the first time this happened either. Out of the 10 or so times we have come, 8 visits were this way! Appointment times do not mean a thing in this office. It goes by the list you sign in on. So if youre a walk in and have a plethura of time to spare, this place is fine. The doctor we see is great, dont get me wrong, but the wait and the receptionist's customer serice skills overpreceed it. If this were not the most convienent location to take my son, i wouldnt dare to even pass it by!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! Cant say it enough!!!

Don't even bother. The office ...

Don't even bother. The office is tiny and I always have an UNclean feeling when I leave there. With an appt you still have more than an hour wait time JUST in the waiting room, and another half hour when they take you back to the exam rooms.

We went in last week for my daughter's 4 month check up. Our appt was at 3:00. It took untill 4:40 before they informed us that they were out of the 4 month immunization shots, and told me there is a "shortage" on those particular vaccines. They did NOT know if this was a local shortage, or a nationwide one. They didn't know WHY there was a shortage, how LONG it was going to last, or WHEN they would be recieving another shipment of the shots. I was told to call back the next week. When I called them back, they STILL couldn't be bothered to find out any of this info for me, and told me to call back again in a few days.

I called a different PRIVATE PRACTICE pediatrcian's office here in Biloxi, and they have the shots there, and hadn't heard anything about a shortage????

Now in Gulf Coast Children's Clinic's favor, the Dr's are very nice and caring (though oddly uninformed about vaccines) but the receptionist is a b*tch!

Slow service, dirty office, horrible customer service, hard to get in touch with them by phone and a RIDICULOUSLY long wait time. I wouldn't take my DOG to their office again!

The Dr.'s are wonderful but the office itself is a madhouse.I have walked out on one occasion because of parents who refuse to control their children.I had an appointment recently where I almost walked out again because of the same issue.I don't like that my son never gets to see the same Dr. so they never really can be on the same page with his treatment.I really feel that the office staff should step in and insist that parents control their children,I know a few people who have switched pediatricians just because of this. The Ocean Springs office has a much calmer environment but it's just so far from my home so I continue to use them.Overall I think they need some waiting room rules and a firm hand with some of the parents who choose to use the waiting area and the other parents as their babysitter.
