We first met Dave Weld when we wanted to get out of an insurance contract that no longer suited us; that was about 30 years ago and the successful conclusion left us with a favorable impression of Dave. Our paths crossed again at several boy scout events. Knowing Dave shared our interest in developing responsible young men from the 10,000 boys who choose scouting in Hawk Mountain Council gave us another reason to trust him with our money.

When my Dad died we had no where to turn, to consolidate the myriad of products accumulated by a 91 year old man who lived the final ten years of his life in Florida. Dave did that to our satisfaction, and helped us distribute Dad's $300,000 among the seven heirs. My brother and I acted as co-executors without compensation. A lawyer advised us not to attempt to manage distribution of the estate by ourselves, but we did it anyhow. It is difficult to believe that a family as disparate as ours would trust my brother and me to act in the best interest of everyone, but they did... and we did. That is the way it is with Dave Weld; we trust him to act in our best interest and are confident that he does.
