I'd eaten at Bella at lunchtime and thought their sandwiches were average and slightly dry, but their white chicken chili was good. However, when my husband and I took my parents, they ordered creamy chicken crepes and beef stroganoff, which were reasonably tasty (I tried a bit of both), and my husband got the cheese tortellini. All had the exact same cream sauce, and the tortellini looked suspiciously like Buttoni you can buy at Wal-Mart.



Now, for the kicker: I ordered the "homemade angel hair pasta tossed with fresh sauteed vegetables in a light garlic and basil sauce." It was disgusting! The pasta was NOT homemade, and the vegetables had clearly come from the freezer! "Fresh vegetables" indeed - that's false advertising! And the sauce - ugh! It seemed like melted butter mixed with chicken broth. There was NO taste whatsoever! I kept adding salt but it didn't help. If I could give them a "0," I would.



Never again will I go to Bella.

One of our favorite places in all of B'ham! The chicken salad is the best around, and the desserts are outstanding. Plus, the evening specials (Friday night was duck confit!) are excellent, too.
