I had a pretty horrible experience with a car owned by a CEO at Jim Burke automotive. It is a used car, that had low miles on it. It was overpriced 1500$ per auto trader and several other websites. I spent a week trying to get them to put the car at a reasonable price. When I finally called Jim Burke's assistant and told her it looks pretty bad for someone who works at their dealer ship to have their car overpriced 1500$ --looks like they are trying to take advantage of people, I got a call from someone who was trying to settle the problem . They brought the price of the car down, and I took it to a fabulous repair shop. They told me it had several gasket problems that would be 1000$ in repairs. They also informed me that the car had salvage parts in the engine area. I was told by another repair shop as well that when the parts we saw were replaced, that usually meant that the engine was also replaced. Oh, my when I told the manager that, all of a sudden they come back with the information that the car engine was rebuilt 18 months ago. Sound very shady, false sales practices. Very scary doing business with these very dishonest people . The manager that worked with us, acted like he had no idea what salvaged parts looked like. He has no business working with cars if he does not know that. All in all --pretty horrible working with these people. Totally wasted over a week of my time. Caused me a lot of grief.
