Legal Placement Services was founded by Sherry K. Freeman in October 1991 to fill the need of Birmingham area law firms for competent and experienced legal staffing. At the time, Sherry K. had been employed by many of the local law firms in various staff positions on a temporary or permanent basis for approximately fifteen years. She had developed a good understanding of the staffing needs of lawyers and law firms and had many contancts amoung legal secretaries and other staff within the city. Sherry K. was and continues to be uniquely situated to match supply with demand for legal staffing. Placing a legal secretary with an attorney entails a matching of personalities as well as skills. Knowing which firms to send the secretary to is one of the keys to Sherry K.'s success. She has a special ability to unite people who can work together and remain compatible, even when there are deadlines to meet and stress levels are high.
