Alabama Board of Education, located in Tarrant, Ala., oversees the operations of the Tarrant City Schools. The district includes high, middle and elementary schools that offer educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through 12. They offer subjects, such as math, English, science, United States history, social studies, computer studies, business, technology, music, art, and health and physical education. The elementary school gives special emphasis to the development of reading, writing and mathematical skills of its students. The three schools also offer a variety of sports activities, including baseball, football, soccer and basketball.
