I had a great experience and found some wonderful shoes at tremendous discounts. I will be returning.

All the shoes in the world will not make me withstand racism and discrimination. I used to purchase quite a bit of shoes at this establishment until an associate decided to humiliate me in front of other customers. It began when I was speaking Spanish while on the phone with my mother. I was not, by any means, yelling. Merely, engaging in a casual, loving chat with Mom:) when the associate approached me and asked me to leave since my "perfume" was allegedly aggravating another associate's asthma. Foremost, I was not wearing perfume. Secondly, I was not the only customer in the store (though I was the only one speaking in Spanish!). And lastly, I presume that anyone with such a grave case of asthma should stay clear of retail stores which are often inundated with asthma-inducing stimuli. I later returned to ask for the owner's name and such information was blatantly denied as the same associate indicated that I should, instead, send a Facebook message. Agreed. Not only will I heed her advice and share my experience on Facebook but I will certainly utilize all media and other online social networks to express this experience in the hopes that the store owner begins to play a more active role in providing cultural training to his/her staff since it seems that such was not instilled during domestication. Please beware of the ignorant soles! Truthfully, I prefer to pay full price at a reputable department store than to sell my dignity for 20% off!
