Mr. W. E. Veenschoten founded Veenschoten and Company in 1953 as a Manufacturer's representative Copes-Vulcan, Incorporated in Alabama and NW Florida. His father, Mr. V. V. Veenschoten, was one of the original founders of Copes in 1912, and held patents on the original boiler feedwater regulators. In 1954, Veenschoten and Company became Representative/Distributor for Electronics Corporation of America, Fireye Division for the state of Alabama. We have had this account, uninterrupted for 48 years. Clyde H. Hunter and Ace Rickard purchased Veenschoten, in December 1997. The Knoxville office was relocated to Chattanooga Tennessee in August 1998.
