The Public Services Division is responsible for the maintenance of streets, solid-waste collection and disposal and sewer repair. It also handles equipment and pool operation and maintenance. The division additionally operates golf courses and maintains more than 200 acres of park land and over 25,000 street and park trees. The Public Services Division also enforces the grass and weed ordinances. Its forestry department provides tree care and maintenance, trimming, and yard waste and brunch pick-up services. The division supports a street improvement project is designed to improve the condition of our roads. The Public Services Division works under the government of Birmingham, Mich.
