I have a total of about 10yrs here.. a few as an owner operator and a few years as a company driver. As an owner o.o. You receive top pay (90% gross), fuel surcharge and the honor of wearing your own authorities and running how you want.. As a company driver you get decent pay, exceptional mileage and home time but you need to be INDEPENDANT on routing, motivation and common sense.. I run my own show 100% through the spring summer and fall but thinking of going back for a bit through the winter because of the consistency and tight ship they run. Expect an ass chewing or a motivational speech once and a while and make sure you have an understanding of wants and needs before going there.. great company old school feel

WOW where do I start! Been with them for 10 + years theres been a lot of entertaining years. If you want to work hard, the work is there. Stupid does not fly here, need to have your ducks in a row. Pay is above average, Miles are there even when you don't need them all, But a little company loyalty never hurt anyone. all in all It's been a good experience, I have no plans of going anywhere. I have been here 10 years
All the promises made before I started have been kept.
I never missed getting home to see my kids every other weekend.
There are no tricks in the pay.
Consistently average 3000 miles per week.
When equipment breaks, they get it fixed.
I have seen lots of people return here after chasing some to good to be true job. They all have the same reason why they return, consistently good miles every week and the pay is good.
It's obviously not for everyone, slackers beware, motivation is expected, along with ability to read maps, inspect equipment, not abuse equipment and all around common sense stuff. The owner works every day and he expects a little effort and give a ****

Rude, just rude. That a all I have to say. They sound very condensending like they think they are above you. Get some manners, didn't your parents teach you that? Guess not.

I have worked for this carrier...

I have worked for this carrier twice and have to say that if you want old school transportation at its best this is the place to work. they run you as hard as they can but within federal regulations. i ran appox 4000 miles a week been thru a federal audit not just 3 months of logs but 6 and had no violations on my paper work. if you do your job (logs properly) and your vehicle inspections regularly you will have no problems. if you drove for j.b.hunt, swift, werner or schneider and never did a log book i suggest getting a brain and figuring it out. there are no tracking devices, the trucks can do the speed limit in any state you are in (which north dakotea is 75) and the equipment is top notch as long as he keeps buying peterbilts and kenworths. all fuel receipts, tolls, scales, etc... have to match logs which is easy to do if you have a brain.

If like not receiving your las...

If like not receiving your last paycheck it is a great place to work. Once you get fired, cause you will, you will not get your finial paycheck. The president/owner/dispatcher WILL fire you at some point. Whether you did something wrong or he just choses to blame you for something someone else did you will be fired. Expected to run 800-1000 miles a day on 500.00 worth of fuel. When you cant do it you will be told what a idiot you are. You will spend a entire at the Bismarck terminal then told you better get going because you have to get to jamestown and get loaded and be in Louisville the next day. And whiile you spent the entire day in Bismarck(working for free) He will scream and belittle you for not running all night to be in Louisville. And thats only the biginning. All for .32cpm
