Had Ambassador Heating and Air out of Blacksburg SC come and replace thermostat for my unit was told that there was a 75.00 service call charge plus cost of parts, asked how much parts would be and was told between 60-70 dollars over the phone. They were there less than 30 minutes and once done produced a bill for $192.00. 75 for service call, 95 for part, and 22.50 for labor. When questioned about why labor wasn't included in the service call fee, I was informed that gas prices were high and needed to be covered. Keep in mind this was not the first time I had given this company my business, but I promise it will be the last. I would not recommend that you use this company for your heating an air needs.
