Blacksburg Elementary School offers educational programs to more than 420 students in grades three through five. The school s academic courses include music, computer applications, art, family and consumer science, technology education, performing arts, math and social studies. Blacksburg Elementary School has a guidance counseling department that provides a developmental and systematic program that ensures academic, personal, social and career development and community involvement for students. Blacksburg Elementary School supports art, Bible, drama, newspaper and science clubs. In addition, the school has a library and media center that provides various books and other study materials. Blacksburg Elementary School is a part of the Cherokee County School District.
