Eye Care and Surgery was established in April 1987 with the objective of providing excellent comprehensive eye care to the patients in the Roanoke Valley while emphasizing compassion and Christian values. The number of eye care providers has grown to seven including 3 ophthalmologists and 4 optometrists: and the number of office locations has grown to six including Roanoke, Valley View, Salem, Botetourt, Smith Mountain Lake and Blacksburg.

First meetnig with Doctor was very vey slow (nearly 3 hours). Actual meet with Dr. was busy (four probes) and he gave a lenghy summary. He appears to be an excellent doctor. However, staff does not appear excellent. While there he asked the staff member to write up a summary of our meeting so I could share the details of the visit. One week later, she has not received the document. when I called on Tuesday (9-3) afternoon I talked with a young female staff member who was not helpful. She said the doctor was not available so when I asked if she could help me she was very abrupt At one point I tried to ask her a question and she spoke immediately over my question 4 times would only to ask the people in the Roakoke office tomorrow when the doctor will be there. I'l still with the doctor, but will not look forward to trips to Blacsburg.
