D.H. Keene Septic is a local family-owned and operated business. The septic service was Established in 1978 by owner Daniel H. Keene after three years in the US Navy SeaBees as an equipment operator. He grew up installing septic systems and excavating with his father, Walter. In 1993, Daniel took over Walter F. Keene Excavating, adding it to the Septic service to become D.H. Keene Septic and Excavating.
