I bought my pet rabbit from this store. I asked the clerk about her health, and she reassured me that my rabbit has been looked over and “they would have noticed if anything was wrong because they handle the animals all the time.” A few days later I realized my rabbit had a giant cut down her leg and her back toe was cut off and was trying to heal. I called the store outraged for the safety of the animals they told me the manager wasn’t in so they took my name and number then never called back. When I finally did reach a manager and she just brushed off my concerns and said I could return my rabbit for a new one, which of course I didn’t because I already fell in love…. 6 months later my bunny had a seizer and died. Please think again before you purchase an animal from here.

This pet store has sold puppies from mills for years. Buying from them just supports the losers that don't care about the animals well being. It's all about the money they can make off of them. It is outrageous to pay $600+ for a mutt. They also don't disclose health issues about the dogs until you are already in the process of paying for them. Is that good business? No, it isn't. The store is busy because everyone likes to look at puppies and kittens, not because they actually want to buy anything. Horrible place to purchase a pet!!!!

I bought my first siamese kittens 20 years ago from this store and I recommend it to anyone who wants a true PURE BRED animal. They both lived for 15 years without any problem. I want a dog now and will probably buy from them. posting lies and comments on message boards is not helpful to us who actually want the product they offer. So, save it please, for the appropriate audience.

I walked into 4 Paws & a Tail just to see a dog I saw over the internet and as I walked through the store I realized that there were ALOT of sick dogs. I asked to hold 1 of the puppies in the store I picked her up and realized she didn't walk straight. Whenever I picked her up her legs went straight behind her. I knew something was not right. When I put her o the floor her leg went right out under her and she fell to the floor. I advise that you should not buy from this shop instead try helping an animal that is helpless in a shelter. I learned never to buy from stores that sell and breed dogs and cats for money because I have a dog named Sophie and she is from over the internet. When I got her she was so sick she was wheezing and coughing she also had heart worms ( luckily ) her diseases were treated and now she was rescued other wise if we had not found her she probably would have died:( Please becareful where you by your beloved pets.

I have never purchased anything from this store... today was actually the first time I ever walked into Four Paws and a Tail pet shop. I just moved to Minneapolis from Wisconsin, so I was extremely shocked when I saw a pet store selling puppies. In wisconsin, it is illegal to sell mass amounts of puppies or kittens for a reason. THE PUPPIES AND KITTENS COME FROM PUPPY MILLS! Thats it... end of story. In wisconsin, and 18 other states, puppy mills are illegal as well as the sale of them in pet stores. Minnesota is NOT one of those states! Puppy mills are not illegal, even though efforts have been made to illegalize them. If you don't know what a puppy mill is, please look into it, but long story short... Inhumanely treated animals that are being "mass produced" without properly caring for the animals. These animals, some of the time, are even inbred to make more money. The only thing that this site actually provides to tell you that the animals are treated humanely is saying th

I have been in there several times, and have called there several times, the staff there is always helpful, when of course they have time. Every time I have been there it has been pretty busy, which says alot about them to me! if they where a horrible store, or had "bad" puppys they would not be busy all the time right? the staff has always took the time to help me, and I eventually bought my Maltese Matty from there a couple months ago, with no problems. yes they are a little spendy, but I know what I'm getting, I have all the records of vaccinations, wormings, any health problems. I think they are a great store and I would reccomend them to EVERYONE! THANK YOU 4 PAWS AND A TAIL!!!

The animals here are pricey, so be prepared to spend. 'especiallythe cats/kittens. I've never seen prices this high, anywhere, ever.I think that the prices are outrageous. Definitely, too expensive for the average pet owner.

I do not recommend going to this pet store because they practice animal cruelty there.A friend of mine went there the other day and noticed that there was an underweight Beagle that appeared very ill. She saw that the pup was disoriented (couldn't walk straight and was crashing into the window) and vomiting profusely. She immediately went inside the store and notified the sales clerks. They told her in a very snotty way that "they were aware of the Beagle's issues". She stressed to them that the pup needed immediate attention and they need to help him (or her). They told her they would, and so she left.. About 10 minutes later, she walked by the store again, and noticed that the dog was still in the window and was still vomiting. She went back in to speak w/ the manager, and the clerks gave her big-time attitude and brushed her off again. The Animal Control Department said they couldn't do anything about because "selling a sick animal is not illegal." Please refrain from going to this

Contrary to the last poster, when I have called this store on the phone they were very help full. But I do know from visiting their store that some of their staff is very help full and one particular girl was not. Paid my boy friend and I no attention when we had actually settled on our decision. We were ready to bring Loki home and she didn't have the time to assist us. I think we'd been there for about an hr before we did get help. Luckily for us they lady coming onto shift was very helpful or we probably wouldn't have gotten Loki, and we love him. We'd gone there about 2-3 time before deciding on him. We've since gotten another puppy Kyo and hes just as wonderful.

Very unhelpful over the phone. The woman who answered was rude and laughed when I asked for the product I was searching for. When I told her I knew the product existed she said "Your wrong, I work in a pet store I should know." I will never walk into the store based off the unacceptable phone behavior!
