I only wish I had seen these reviews before I had hired them! A couple of hours work for him and his buddy ended up costing me over three thousand dollars and only a few dollars of parts. That is to snake a sewer line and then pump the septic tank. Very disappointed.

Called them for a stopped up sewer line. They jetted the line through a clean out my husband had opened up prior to their arrival. They then proceed to tell us the jetter they had was not long enough (75' or 100' - there were two of them and they each had their own opinion as to the length). We were also told they could come at the clog from the other direction if we had sweeps that were bi-directional, but ours were not. This was incorrect information. They charged us $320.00 - $275.00 to put a sewer snake into a clean out pipe plus a $45.00 service call and were gone in less than 20 minutes after arrival. They fixed nothing and told us it was just one of those "unfortunate" blocks that they could not get to. When they left (and we were still in the same situation as when they arrived - albeit $320.00 poorer) we looked at the first "sweep" in the main sewer line only to see a major clog...quite visible when the cap was unscrewed. With a piece of plain old rebar my husband dug at the clog and freed the drain up in about 10 minutes! These guys were very incompetent for people with over 36 years plumbing experience....it certainly did not show. I have since spoken with other neighbors and found out they had similar bad experience with this company. I will be taking action to get a refund of my money. AVOID this company...you're better off trying to fix the problem yourself than calling Tony's Plumbing!

What this customer does not realize is that you have to take both covers off heater ck both outlet points for both elements and ck the connections for hot and cold and then ck temperature on water heater and also ck pressure on house to make sure the pressure reducer is working properly then you can determine if the heater is not leaking. I have taken my car to a mechanic to see why a light is on on my dash the mechanic plugs in his computer and diagnoses the problem he charges for this. It's not free.
I would be glad if a plumber went through the trouble of checking and saving me $900.00 or so for a water heater. Our experience came with a great deal of cost and is not given away for free. Our Family has been in plumbing since 1942 and in the Blairsville area for 34 + years and we are still here because we don't work for free .

I would not recommend Tony's Plumbing after my recent experience after contacting them for service on what I thought was a leaking hot water tank. I have a rental cabin in Blairsville, and called Tony's Plumbing for service after guests reported water on the floor near the hot water tank. They were prompt; however, the problem wasn't the hot water tank, but the condensation drain on the A/C next to the tank was plugged and leaking on the floor. So, I have no problem with a $65 service call, but they charged an additional $80 for leak detection??? No, they didn't fix anything, just told me the water tank was fine and I needed to call an A/C repair company. Not what I would call an ethical company. Beware.
