My wife ordered a Mexican dish (don't remember what it was) and the menu specifically said that it used a mild sauce. She couldn't eat it because it was ridiculously hot. When i mentioned this in a very diplomatic, kind way to the cook/OWNER of the place, his response was, "It has habanero pepper juice in it, and no one ever complained about it before." As soon as he walked away (he had been sitting at the bar getting wasted prior to making our food), the waitress/barmaid (obviously embarrassed because he was an idiot and not at all apologetic) stated that my wife was not the first person to complain about the heat of this dish.

But I will base this review on three other issues with this establishment as well:

1) the owner is always drinking at the bar while his wife, who looks miserable, tends bar..

2) the building is falling down, with bricks all over the sidewalk.

3) the owner is too drunk (or lazy) to even cut the foot-tall grass at the side of the bar. that says it all!
