I took my 12 yr old for a mani-pedi treat for her 6th grade graduation. I specifically asked for a mani-pedi special - $20. My daughter asked me if she could get french design on her nails. I said OK.



While I was sitting in the waiting area reading my magazine they were in the back doing every service on my child that would allow them to make an extra buck!!



When it was time to pay (fingernails not even polished yet) They gave me incorrect change. I found out they did eyebrows and designs I didnt request and a whole array of services that was outside of my budget.



I told them that I didn't ask for these services they started yelling at me and told me that my child said to do it and that she is not 4 yrs old.



I told them moving forward they should consult with the parent before they run up a bill and that she is still a 12 yr old, (which I learned they were offering all of these services with a smile and she didnt even know what they were saying.)







Upon me telling them they should consult with a parent, they started attacking me. 3 of them. One very unattractive old lady screaming in my face and shaking her head profusely. I asked them to subtract the manicure from the money I had paid them as I didn't want to stay there another minute. (Funny, they had already told me they would finish her nails if I gave them another $5.) They refused to give me my money back, and I ran out of there.



My daughters freashly decorated toenails ALL smeared that night upon her taking a bath, and the next day I heard horror stories from several of my friends about this place. One saying that the service people there had started a catastrophic argument and attack over $1.



The reason that it is empty most of the time I suppose is the poor service when you think you hit the spot and won't have to wait. It is really because it is a horror house. DO NOT GO THERE!!
