Sunrise of Bloomingdale

My mother has been living at this Sunrise for almost 2 years. When my brother and I started looking for the best community for her, we searched everywhere. It took us many months to see all of the places within driving distance of where we live. This community stood apart from the beginning in the best way. One of my favorite things is my mom would never have to move once she started to physically decline - she could stay in her same apartment, and her care-givers would just provide the care she needed. I think it's great my mom won't have to move as her condition progresses; it would probably just frustate her to move from the partment she loves. I am always visiting, and I feel very welcome to stay as long as I like and join my mom in the activities (my favorite is cocktail hour). My brother and I feel confident in our choice in this community because we know my mom is loved and well cared for. I would recomend it to anyone!
