I work in Chicago, but I get my hair done here and have for some time. The staff is really sweet and the cut and hair color I get is as good or better that what I was receiving in the City. Best of all their price saved me a ton.

I am new to Bloomington, and sad that I left a great hairdresser back home, JEM's Salon was the perfect fit for me. Finding a new stylist in a new city is tough because there are so many to choose from here in Bloomington, not to mention the over rated pricing at many salons. Not only did this Salon catch my eye on the internet, the interior was so well put together. I felt very welcome. They did what I asked and they gave me a great consultation to make the whole experience better. My hair is exactly how I wanted it to look. What I love is that the price stayed the same and if I get more than one thing done it's not overpriced (with the economy the way it is, this is an awesome way to get done what I love without burning my pockets....I LOVE THIS SALON. PS..the waxing is awesome too! Ask for Petra, she is Great!.

I went to this salon with my hopes high, after reading some of their reviews. Well, the reviews were good, but not nearly as good as my experience! Mary, who it turns out is the owner really seemed interested and asked what I wanted and how much time I spend in the morning on my hair. She also showed me a couple of ways to style my hair-which no one has ever done. I then got a great shampoo ever compliments of Kim. I was very happy when she finished, my hair looked great. Mary, thanks, you were amazing! I will for sure being going back. Oh, p.s., the entire group of girls at this salon are extremely professional!
