It is just not that good. The food is average. The wait staff and bartender are always just bad. I have tried this restaurant a few times just to see if I had visited on a bad night, but every time it is the same poor service and average food. I will give credit to the cook we had the last time. He was extremely entertaining, but the other visits were not that way. For my wife and I at the cost we can find somewhere much better in the Bloomington/Normal area to dine.

I think that the food was absolutely delicious. The presentation was also spectacular. I haven't had better sushi Illinois since I was actually in Japan. However, the service itself could use some improvements. I had to ask for things several times and when I asked for an explanation of foods that I was not familiar with, the information provided was extremely unclear. If you are looking for great food, I highly recommend it, but don't count on excellent service.
