Went in for a simple wash and cut to begin my natural process. Called before hand to see if they worked with natural hair and how much it would be. I was lied to about both. First off the lady on the phone didn't sound like she knew what she was talking about (my first sign) and also said it would be about $30-$40. So I go in and yes the atmosphere was nice, but the workers weren't. Also when I walked in there was a white lady getting weave put in (my second sign). My stylist wouldn't listen to anything I wanted done to MY hair and ended up doing something to my hair that I didn't want. Instead of just washing and cutting it like I wanted and all I wanted he put these products in my hair and then blew it out after I just said I wanted to start wearing my hair natural.. who does that? Throughout the whole process he and his coworker who I later found out was the owner (what a joke) continuously criticized me about how I wanted my hair and that only people with good hair should go natural blah, blah, blah. (My third sign). So by the end of it I ended up having to pay $70 for the products put in my hair (that I didn't want) and for what was done to my hair (I also didn't want). By the time I got home, not even an hour later one side of my head had already frizzed up, it looked uneven, and my hair was greasy as f@#$, which I hate by the way. I should've paid attention to the signs, but lesson learned. Please do not let these people lie to you. They do not know the first thing about natural hair.

I went in for a basic twist out. My twist out came out super frizzy. The hairstyle couldn't even stay and make it to day two hair absolutely pathetic.

When I first went to the salon, everyone treated me like they knew me, the service was great and so was the staff. One thing I really like about Salon Jenaé is the fact that the stylists are very knowledgeable of the product they use. I loved my hair that day, and I have been going there since.

I really enjoyed the salon atmosphere. they were friendly and my haircut was great!
