DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO DOUGS AUTO REPAIR! Let me give you some background... my car was leaking oil. Took it to the Mazda dealer here in town where they told me I was leaking from front main seal and it would cost 900$ to fix it. Well, I decided to shop around town for some other mechanics before paying such a high price to fix. I found Doug’s auto repair and they had a better price and good reviews, so I decided “why not”.

Doug took my car and was supposed to replace the seals for the leaking oil. Doug told me it would take 4 hours tops to fix the car. Over one week later, Doug calls me and tells me that my car won’t start for some reason and that it’s now my responsibility to tow it off his lot. “But not to worry, because at least it wasn’t leaking oil.”

I then took my car back to the Mazda Dealer in Bloomington, Indiana. The Tech mechanic of 25 years told me that Doug’s auto fried my PCM and wiring harness and essentially my new car was completely broken. I called Doug to see if he would help remedy my situation to which Doug told me... “you’re going to have to sue me.”

I’m a full time student. I missed class for over 30 days because of Doug’s auto. I work full time and I lost my job because I couldn’t get to work thanks to Doug’s auto. I have a part time internship required by my college that I got dropped from because of Doug’s auto.

Doug didn’t care about any of the pain and hardship he caused me. He didn’t care that I lost my job. Failed my classes because I couldn’t get to school. He didn’t care at all. Doug didn’t care about me, and Doug WILL NOT CARE ABOUT YOU EITHER!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO DOUGS AUTO! Go literally ANYWHERE else in Bloomington, Indiana. A close family friend told me that he is a drug user. That probably explains his lack of knowledge on cars and his lack of empathy for practically ruining my life.

I will be suing Doug’s auto, I suggest you keep your vehicles away from him and his shop!!!

Very professional did a great job for a fraction of what other places are charging for the same work. I highly recommend
