I was experiencing major issues with my iPhone for a week. I called the Verizon Tech Company and took it in to two different Verizon stores, no one knew what was going on. I came into Mac Experience and immediately received great service and feedback. The best part was the promptness. I brought my phone in an hour before closing, but my phone was ready and fixed before they opened the next day! It was a fantastic experience and was not expensive!

Couldn’t have had a worse experience here. I go there to have my iPhone repaired because my model is being recalled, which is a free repair. They take my iPhone and test to see if there is additional damage to see if it would require additional repairs. They test my phone and tell me it’s not damaged, and it will be a free repair within 4-6 business days and that I should expect it earlier than later.

On business day 6 I hadn’t heard anything from them, and so I call to find out the situation. They tell me that they received a follow up 5 hours before I called (on the last day it should’ve taken to get back) that my iPhone does have additional damage and it would be a $300 repair. My option was to either reject it and get sent the broken, unrepaired iPhone back in 1-2 days or pay $300 dollars for the repair and wait even longer.

When I speak to the Mac Experience representative he completely agrees how ridiculous this is, yet when I bring up the idea that Mac Experience should cover the additional fee since they were the ones that told me it’s not damaged, he chuckles and says no. When I complained that this isn’t even close to the time they personally told me it would take, he said that it’s not their fault, it’s Apples. If you tell me it’s going to be 4-6 days and it’s not even close, then take some responsibility.

To make my experience even worse he tells me he’s going to reach out to and Apple representative about it and call me right back. I waited over 4 hours for that call back and had to call in myself. If I had any idea it would take nearly double the amount of time I was told and that they weren’t sure if it was considered damaged, then I would have never ever sent it in.

Great and friendly people that are very knowledgable about Apple products. Took my iMac in for repairs and they were able to get it fixed in a timely manner and it was the price they originally quoted me.

I wish I didn't have to give them a star. But I recommend you stay away from this business. They told me they could back up the information on my phone that was a lie. I took my phone in on Saturday it would turn on but wasn't working right, they said my phone would be in Monday. I even got a text from them saying I had a appointment at 11 on Monday but it turn out to be Tuesday instead and by that time they had taken my phone apart it would not turn on so they could not back up my info

Michelle, I would first like to clarify that our system doesnt sent you any type of text, more than likely that would have been Apple handling that since your appointment would have been placed with them, I am sorry but we do not have any control over their system, or appointments. As well we had offered to backup your data and you declined to have us perform this service for you.
