DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS HERE! They try to cheat you out of what you order, and they are mostly staffed with rude high school/early college age girls with NO customer service skills! I came into the shop in person looking to order flowers for a friend, for pick-up 3 days later; I advised the woman at the counter that I just wanted a full, bright arrangement that included bright orange/red roses and a couple of the big sunflowers. She even brought me examples of the flowers to verify what I wanted. Only at that point did we discuss price (the flowers and arrangement were more important to me than the price), and the lady told me that for a full arrangement with those specific roses and size of sunflower the price would be $25. When I came in to pick up the flowers, the lady who had taken my order was not present; there was one adult and several high school girls working. The arrangement was WAY smaller than we had discussed, and some other random type of very small yellow flower had been substituted for the sunflowers. When I questioned it, I was told quite condescendingly that they were out of the kind of sunflower I wanted, that this was another type of sunflower, so it counted. I advised that I had wanted two specific flowers included in the arrangement because they were my friend's favorites, and I was told that they would be included. The girl rolled her eyes, called the adult over, and they went to the back, where, lo and behold, they brought out two of the type of sunflowers that I wanted - except WAY smaller than they should be for what I was paying. When I told them that the bouquet and flowers were much smaller than what I was told I could have, and that I really wanted either more flowers or a discount on the bouquet, the young girl SHOUTED at me, "God grows the flowers, I can't make them bigger! What do you want me to do about it?!" At that point I did get angry myself, and commented on the complete lack of customer service. The older lady finally gave me $5 off - if my friend's opening night hadn't been in 3 hours with no time to go anywhere else I would have refused to buy the flowers, but since I didn't have time to go anywhere else I took the discount. Unbelievable situation. Go elsewhere.

Questionable Literacy Skills

The flowers I finally received are lovely, but are 3 days late in getting here (that's 3 days less I'll be able to enjoy them). I am infrequently home, so they left a delivery notice for me... in my neighbor's mailbox. They were supposed to then call me to set up an appointment time, but I never received any calls (even though a note on the back of my card that came with the flowers claims they did). I tried to call them in the evening to leave a message to schedule a delivery, but they don't even have an answering machine or automated message, nor do they have a website or email address. So, lovely flowers if you don't mind never seeing them.
