I has a bad experience at Sneidman's Jewelry located at Bloomsburg PA. I had gone there to replace the battery of my watch. I had asked them how much it would cost. They said it was $10.80 and then i thought this is a great deal and no one can beat that. I left my watch and went to pick it up next day. The owner asked for $21.80. He did not inform me about the price hike in advance. I asked him why is he charging me this much then he said he is for cleaning the band of the watch. I asked him for a discount and said could you please lower the price a bit since i did not know that it was going to be 21.80 dollars when i left the watch there. The guy just through my card and said rudely that i could take the watch for free, I said please charge the amount he told earlier(10.80) but he didn't listen. I did not want a free service so i paid the whole amount(21.80) and walked away. I felt i was ripped off. I had put on trust on him but he broke it. Its disappointing to put faith in the shop and getting rudeness in return. They should have atleast told me earlier about the price change and that too by 100%. ADVICE - Please ask them to provide only the services needed and not the once that make the charge go double like in my case.
