Kensan, Kekosan, Jackiesan and their staff have made Ando my Japanese restaurant of choice. A quiet gem tucked next to Brown Dog Cafe on Pfeiffer, it is worth seeking out. Completely authentic food, including sushi and sashimi, served elegantly with high touch service. The staff is like extended family and takes extra special care of me when I come in. I have never been disappointed. If you follow "half price" sushi specials - stick with those places. This restaurant is the real deal.

The first time I really had sushi. It was quite fresh and all the food was quite delicious. Nice atmoshpere, friendly chefs, good wine. I hope to take the girl I hope to marry there very often.
